A Stroke Survivor's Story

Imagine waking up one morning and the entire right side of your body was paralyzed. That’s exactly what happened to Carolyn Rose of Antioch, Tennessee. Rose suffered a stroke in her late 40’s from what she says was stress in working three different jobs. Four years later, she continues to work on doing the daily things at a Saint Thomas Outpatient Rehabilitation center in Franklin like picking up a water bottle or speaking in public. Her skills have deteriorated, but her spirit is soaring and she’s influencing other stroke survivors with her inspirational attitude.
