Motivated to Change

TaKesha Anderson of LaVergne, Tennessee has always been a positive person, so it was hard to see how much she was hurting inside. She was miserable every single day. Her weight was at the center of her misery and doing anything about it seemed overwhelming. In 2012, TaKesha finally hit a wall. She was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Weighing 256 pounds, she went to see bariatric surgeon Dr. George Lynch at the Center for Surgical & Medical Weight Loss at Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville. Her life would never be the same.

TaKesha had gastric by-pass surgery and today she feels like a whole new person... literally. She's lost more than a 120 pounds, but more importantly, she's kept it off by changing her entire lifestyle. She works out 5-6 days a week and has created a YouTube channel of her workout routine to help others get motivated. Eating for her now is more of a thought process. She measures everything and carefully reads every nutritional fact.
