Giving the Gift of Life
When you meet Jan Frazier of Chattanooga, Tennessee, you would never know she's sick. Her big smile and southern drawl full of positivity will endear you to her in an instant. But, for more than 40 years, she's been battling a lifelong illness with her kidney. Jan was born with only one kidney. In the last few years, that one kidney has worn down. Doctors told her If she didn't have a kidney transplant, she would have to go on dialysis and her outlook would be grim. That's when an unlikely donor stepped into her life to give her new life. It's a story of love, friendship, and sacrifice.
